How Much Do You Sleep? 😴

Have you noticed how much more vulnerable you become when you’re sleep deprived or sick? 😳

During those times we’re not as conscious, the subconscious opens up, and our ego is quite loud!

You become more on edge or sensitive to the most minute experiences because you’re in SURVIVAL MODE!

Lately there have been a few nights I slept only 4 hours and it had been YEARS since that last happened. 😳

The brain literally cannot function during those times and even worse, studies have shown that a sleep deprived brain functions very similarly to a drunk brain! 😱

Scary right? I don’t know how people thrive on living this way because our bodies really do NEED sleep to repair and heal, yet the autopilot way of living has numbed people to this. 😣

Now that I’m very particular about sleeping well knowing that’s CRUCIAL for my health, I definitely noticed how little my brain functioned that day. I even left my speaker and portable charger at the volleyball court! πŸ€¦πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Thankfully I have my portable charger labeled and someone I know down at the courts found it so YAY! 🀩

And a few week’s ago when my dog Pashmak was in his crate due to surgery, I yet again experienced less sleep, which had me notice I slur words and even forget words even though they’re at the tip of my tongue! πŸ™Š
