Why Set New Year’s Resolutions? 🤨

Don’t get me wrong, I’m ALL about goals and growth, but to do so just at the New Year is kind of setting yourself up for failure, in my opinion that is! 🤷🏻‍♀️

So many set these high expectation goals, most of which last for maybe a month – if that! 😳

It’s why gyms are so packed for the first month or two of the year and the employees and trainers straight up tell you: give it a month or two and it won’t be so crowded. 🙃

Creating a NEW YOU takes COMMITMENT, which also include making new choices daily to shift your habits and create new ones…

I prefer a New DAY Resolution rather than a New YEAR, because let’s face it, how many actual New Year’s resolutions have you accomplished in your life? 🤔

Looking back, I don’t recall any that significantly stand out. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Besides, as you grow and evolve, so do your goals and intentions, which is exactly why a New Daily Resolution is setting you up for success, as long as you commit daily too of course. 😜

On the other hand, setting a New Year’s Resolution does create excitement, so when you do set resolutions for your upcoming year AND have accountability of some kind to have you stay committed to the goals you’ve set AND take action daily, achieving your goals becomes inevitable! 🤩

Whether you grab a friend or you work with a coach, personal trainer, nutritionist, energy healer, etc., consider having some type of accountability for your resolutions, both the New Year’s ones AND daily ones! 🥰
